It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Barkhouse (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Barkhouse to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lottie Power (Cahoon) and J. Stanley Power; her husband Walter Barkhouse; her son Robert; her daughter-in-law Mary; her siblings, Doris Nichols (Nick), Shirley Deal (Gordon), William Power (Audrey) and Hilma Frank (George); and her sister-in-law Jessie.

She is survived by : her children, Brian (Doreen), River Bourgeois, David (June), Clydesdale, Kimberley Hansen (Mark), Lori (Allen Dawson) and Lorraine Lays; her brother Harold Power (Marion); her grandchildren, Cara, Krista, Andrew, Amy, Nicole, Debra, Keith, Todd, Darren, Isabella Rae, Mitchell and Quinn; and her stepgrandchildren, Tracey, Angie and Jessica. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren.
