He was predeceased by : his father Brian; his grandparents, Garfield MacLean, Harris and Phyllis Murray; and his pet Duke.

He is survived by : his siblings, Kerri-Lyn (Jason Brown) and Jonathon (Michelle); his nieces and nephews, Marley, Ben, Andy, Sam and Eli; his goddaughters, Chelsey and Clara; and his grandmother Frances MacDonald. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
