Joan Beverly Stewart Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Beverly Stewart (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2025 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Beverly Stewart to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Stewart and Helen Stewart (MacDonald) of Lochaber; and her siblings, Marguerite Bethune and Rev. Doug Stewart. She is survived by: her sons, Wayne (Jennifer) and Mark (Chantel); her grandchildren, Reaghan, Rowen, Duncan and Luke; her half-brothers, Dennis (Cindy) and Darryl; her brother-in-law Lloyd Bethune; her nephew Brent (Susan); and her great-niece Lilly. She is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the MacIsaac Funeral Home (61 Pleasant St, Antigonish, NS B2G1W7). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James United Church (197 Main St, Antigonish, NS B2G2B8).
Donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of St Martha's Regional Hospital or St James United Church.
