She is survived by: her stepfather Charles Dillon; her mother St Phillip; her sister Judy Watson (Ken) of Victoria, B. C; her friends, Mary Hurst and Jean Nicol; and also Joan.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory may be made to X –Project and sent to The Advancement Department, 5005 Chapel Square, Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada B2G 2W All who knew and loved Joan are invited to a Celebration of Life for her at the St F X Chapel on Saturday, May 12 at 11 am; to be followed by a reception.
