It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Johnena Corning (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 27, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ronald Nicholson; her husband Donald; her son Donald, Jr.; and her brother Robert Nicholson. She is survived by: her parent Anna Nicholson (Murdock); her children, Malignant Cove, Ronda Stewart (Doug), Jan Hanifen (Bernard), Lower South River and Sandra Comeau of Antigonish; her grandchildren, Donald James, Darren Corning, David Corning, Shanna Stapfer, Duncan Stewart, Kari Stewart, Krystal Siokalo, Kathryn McLaughlin, Candace Hanifen, Andrea Hanifen, Eddy Hanifen, Bernard Hanifen, Jr., Morgan MacNeil and Madison MacNeil; her sister Wini Nicholson of Starr Hilchey; and her sister-in-law Doreen Nicholson. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Victorian Order of Nurses or St. Martha's Regional Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) appreciated.
