She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Delorey and Annie Jane Delorey (Pettipas); her husband Charles "Chuck" Brister; and her siblings, Stanley (Yvette), William (Theresa), Emma Fraser (Earl), Buddy, Isabel Burns, Jim (Florence) and John.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne (Suzanne), Robert "Bob" (Kelly) and Vicki Oliphant (Brian); her grandchildren, Rebecca (Tony Hill), Jason and Michael Brister (Tasha); her children, Mark (Arpana), Melanie Jones (Nick), David Brister, Sister Amiee Marie, Jane and Claire Oliphant; her great grandchildren, Makena and Rory; and her siblings, Mary Gaudreau, George Delorey, Kathleen (Peter Schmitz) and Nancy (Romeo Distefano). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the MacIsaac Funeral Home (61 Pleasant St, Antigonish, NS B2G1W7). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Church (1470 Cape Jack Rd, Havre Boucher, NS B0H1P0).
