Margaret Mary Dunn Obituary

We announce the death of Margaret Mary Dunn (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 87. Margaret will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Margaret will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Margaret will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Margaret’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Willie MacEachern and Kate Sarah MacEachern (MacMaster). She is survived by: her husband James Fraser Dunn; her children, James Anthony Dunn, Michael Coady Dunn (Cindy Degaust) and Jacqueline Ann Dunn MacIsaac (Shane MacIsaac); and her uncle Dan Hughie MacEachern.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the MacIsaac Funeral Home (61 Pleasant St, Antigonish, NS B2G1W7). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Church (17298 County Rd 18, St Andrews West, ON K0C2A0).

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the St. Andrew Cemetery Fund or a charity of one's choice.
