She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. MacDonald and Elizabeth MacDonald (Burns); her husband Finley; her sons, Kevin and Joseph; her brother Lawrence MacDonald; her half-brother Jackie Bellam; and her siblings-in-law, Catherine MacDonald, Leola Farrell, Josephine Kraftchik, Cecelia Sanford, Delores Hall, Gloria Delaney and Archibald Farrell.
She is survived by: her children, David (Darlene), Kathleen (Michael Lynch), Trish (Mike Hassin), Dan (Lee), Michael (Sarah), Laureen (Paul Boyd) and Sean (Anna); her grandchildren, Brianne, Grant Farrell, Kelsey, Hayley, Shannon Lynch, Leah, Tara Hassin, Sean, Cory Farrell, Kevin, Joey, Jenna, Kennedy Farrell, Kaylyn, Laura, Myrie Boyd, Kasia, Erica and Connor Farrell; her brother-in-law Donald Hall; and her goddaughter Catherine Hughes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the MacIsaac Funeral Home (61 Pleasant St, Antigonish, NS B2G1W7). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St Ninian's Cathedral (121 St Ninian St, Antigonish, NS B2G1Y9).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may me made to St Vincent de Paul or St. Martha's Hospital Foundation.
