She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jumbo" Johnson; her parents, Dorothy Basque and John Basque; her grandchild Bishop Bjornson; her great grandchild Taylynn; her siblings, Donna Echevarria, Anthony Basque and Floyd Basque; her nephew Roger Mustafa; and her nieces, Kylie Basque and Takisha Googoo.

She is survived by: her children, Leslie Paul (Mona Morris), Wilfred "Willy" Johnson (Belinda), Donna Johnson, James "Jimmy" Johnson (Crystal), Mary Margaret Johnson and Crystal Bernard (Josh); and her siblings, Connie Basque of Paqtnkek, Tracey Basque of Paqtnkek, Annie Basque of Paqtnkek, Freda Kabatay, Membertou, Vincent Basque (Sandra) and John "Junior" Basque. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
