She is survived by: her mother Florence MacDonnell; her husband Dougald; her siblings, Allan Francis, Sadie, John A, Kay, Donald, Theresa and Alex; her children, Patricia Foley (Mike), Cathy (Glen), Marlene MacKenzie (David), Jackie (Debbie), Cameron (Annie), Jimmie (Cathy), Colleen (Mark), Jo-Anne Gillis-Morell (Paul) and Janice; her grandchildren, Melissa Pereversoff (Mike), Melanie, Colin Foley, Ashley Manubay (Ben), Kyle MacKenzie (Marybeth), Cody MacKenzie, Rachel MacKenzie (Peter), Chelsea Gillis-Tremblett (Josh), Brittney Drake (Nick), Aly Gillis (Emily), Katrina Turnbull (Matt), Josée Morell (McKenzie), Cally Morell (Brian), Gracie Morell (Nelson), Ewan MacLean (Brooke) and Maggie MacLean (Alexis); her great grandchildren, Cohen, Lexi, Kylee Pereversoff, Skyler, Archer Turnbull, Ava, Belle Tremblett, Louie Morell and Amaree George; and her sister Joan Chisholm. She is also survived by many nieces and, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the C. L. Curry Funeral Home (135 College St, Antigonish, NS B2G1X9). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Ninian Cathedral (121 St Ninian St, Antigonish, NS B2G2L8).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Antigonish Seniors Care Van in her honor.
