He is survived by: his wife Nancy MacLean (MacAllister); his children, Robert, Virginia, Vermont, Katie Colorado (Miguel), California, Alex Antigonish (Corine), Kathy (Cam), Patti Halifax (Eddy) and Bob Pictou (Paula); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Max, Thais, Owen, Finnin, Shane, Bridgid, Patrick and Ben. He is also survived by his sister.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Martha's Regional Hospital Foundation in Bob's memory.
