He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Burke and Helen Burke (Misken). He is survived by: his wife Catherine (Boyce); his son Adam; his daughter-in-law Tania; his daughter Abby Oliver; his son-in-law Brett; his grandchildren, Shannyn, Hayden and Lauryn; and his brothers, Michael (Debbie), Tremont, Stephen (Vicki), Paul (Vera), Alabama, David (Iris) and Chester Basin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the C. L. Curry Funeral Home (135 College St, Antigonish, NS B2G1X9). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Margaret of Scotland Church - Arisaig.
