With sadness, we share the passing of Shirley Evelyn MacGillivray (Antigonish, Nova Scotia). Shirley passed away on August 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Feltmate and Agnes Feltmate; and her siblings, Maurice (Gwen), John (Mabel), William, Kay Venedam (Clarence), Hilda Gotchall (George), Annie Hallie (Fabian), Loretta Welsh (Wallace), June MacDonald (Rod), Pearl (Abe) and Melanson.

She is survived by: her husband William Mac Gillivray (Billy); her children, Paula Minehan (Bobby) and Tyson Mac Gillivray (Geraldine); her grandchildren, Autumn, Patrick, Hannah, Benjamin and Isaac; and her sister-in-law Marie (William).

Memorail donations may be made to St. Martha's Regional Hospital Foundation, 25 Bay St Antigonish, NS B2G 2G5.
