He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Alex MacDonald (StFX) and Sarah Carruthers Beattie (Sally); and his siblings, Mary MacEachern, Thomas, Theresa Effie Turner, Audrey MacMillan-Morris, Eric "Skit", Marilyn Ferguson, Brenton, Evelyn Sampson, Blaise and Sean.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dennis MacDonald (Carol) and Carol Gatchalian (late Celso); and his siblings-in-law, Gordon Sampson and Mary Anne MacDonald. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
