He was predeceased by: his brother James Frederick; and his brother-in-law Spiro Schembri. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Anne (DeYoung); his children, Lynn of Truro, Daniel (Jackie), Julieanne Connors (Darryl) of Afton and Jennifer Baines (Dwayne); his grandchildren, Dane Matheson, Rory Connors, Brenna Connors, Colten Mattie and Camren Mattie; his siblings, Carol, Michael (Anne), Stellarton, Basil (Elaine), Bernie (Karen), Port Hawkesbury, Charlotte Mattie (John) of Monastery, Robert (Halifax), Ralph (Donalda) and Tracadie; his sister-in-law Marie Mattie; and his aunt Ethel Landry (Bonvie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
