She was predeceased by: her parent Hector MacDonald; her husband Huntley James Kirk (Dan Hasey); her brother Angus MacDonald; and her nephew Jimmy R. MacDonald. She is survived by: her parent Suzie MacDonald (Bowie); her daughter Tammy; her siblings, George MacDonald (Dorothy), Mary Margaret MacGillivray (John), Antigonish, Annabel Thompson (James) and Halifax; and also, Antigonish and Brierly Brook.
