He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll and Ella; his brother Peter; and his niece Ellaine Chisholm. He is survived by: his siblings, Dolorosa Kelly (late Ed), Katherine Anne Chisholm (Jerome), Billy (Peggy), Lawrence (Cathy), Howard (Cathie), Collie (Evie), Caroline MacDonald (Tony) and Geta Macquarrie (Steve).

Memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of St. Martha's Regional Hospital.
