He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Grace and Edna Grace; his brothers, David, James (Agnes) and Earl; and his siblings-in-law, Dave Battite, Jack Smith, Jimmy Fraser, Austin Richardson, Allan MacDonald, Genevieve Richardson (Bernie) and Norma Grace.
He is survived by: his wife Margie; his children, Kevin (Nancy Nippard) and Kelli Sponagle (Roger) of Antigonish; his grandchildren, Justine, Cassidy and Ryan; his siblings, Eileen Battite of Boston, MA, Shirley Andre (Gerry) of Kingston, ON and Linda Richardson; his siblings-in-law, Betty Grace, Nancy Grace of Ottawa, ON, Ruby Grace of Kingston, ON, Theresa MacDonald, Paula Smith and Ronnie Fraser (Sheila); Hayden, Lauren and Vince.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the MacIsaac Funeral Home (61 Pleasant St, Antigonish, NS B2G1W7). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Ninian's Cathedral (121 St Ninian St, Antigonish, NS B2G1Y9).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the St, Martha's Regional Hospital Foundation or to the RK MacDonald Nursing Home Foundation.
