He was predeceased by: his parents, Osborne Walter and Daphne Smith Walter (Blanch); his former wives, Gertrude Smith (MacGillvary) and Madeline Smith (Johnston); and his siblings, Eileen MacNeil (Smith), Francis Stack (Smith), Jack, Gerald and Lloyd.
He is survived by: his friends, Norm Phee, Roberta Johnston and Bonnie Phee; and his children, Tony and Kim. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
