With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Agnes Bernadette Johnson (Arichat, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 3, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her sisters, Madeline Battiste and Pauline Marshall; her husband John Duncan Johnson; and her siblings, Mary O'Toole and Eugene Vincent.

She is survived by : her sons, Richard and Terrance (Indian); her mother Susie Vincent; her granddaughters, Autumn Johnson and Lacey Boyce; her great grandchild Ensley MacDonald; her daughters, Donna (late James Lameman), Darlene Paul (Gally Andrew), Diane Basque (Kenny), Margaret, Lorena Tracey (John), Trina Denny (Terry) and Lynn Boyce (Geoff); her granddaughter Melanie Paul; her sons, John Duncan Jr., Dwayne, Darrell and Claude; and her grandson Jeff Johnson. She is also survived by her 13 children, 54 grandchildren, 88 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 11:59 PM, on Friday, March 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:59 PM and on Saturday, March 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:00 PM at the Family Residence (50 Pe'klan'ke Awti, St. Peter's, NS B0E3B0). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (9785 Grenville St, St. Peter's, NS B0E3B0). A burial will be held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 at the St. Anne's Church.
