She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Johnson and Esther Johnson (Paul); her husband Chief Noel Doucette; her son Cecil Doucette; and her siblings, Alfreda Johnson, Virginia Simms, Sarah Denny, Pauline Gould, Edward Johnson, Arthur Johnson, Danny Johnson, Wilfred Johnson and Henry Johnson.
She is survived by : her children, Noel Doucette of Potlotek, Laurie Doucette (Clayton) of Membertou, Charles Doucette (Lynne) of Potlotek, Denise Doucette of Potlotek, Natalie Doucette (William) of Potlotek, Keptin Francis Doucette (Lori) of Potlotek, Yvonne Doucette (Darren) of Potlotek, Giselle Doucette of Potlotek, Noelle Doucette of Potlotek, Quentin Doucette of Potlotek and Rita Doucette of Potlotek; her grandchildren, Edna Doucette (Brad) of Potlotek and James Doucette (Chenise) of Tatamagouche; and her godparents, John N. and Margaret Paul. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and 6 godchildren.
Burial will take place in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Barra Head In compliance with Nova Scotia's COVID-19 public health regulations, proof of double vaccination and a picture ID must be shown to attend the visitation and funeral.
