Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Josephine Marilyn Lerue (Arichat, Nova Scotia), who passed away at the age of 68, on April 12, 2022. She was predeceased by : her parents, Omer Savoie and Margaret "Peggy" Savoie (Sampson); her siblings, Billy Savoie, Alec Savoie and Georgina MacDonald; and her brothers-in-law, Douglas Mombourquette and Michael George.

She is survived by : her husband Wayne Joseph; her son Spencer Lerue of St. Peter's; and her siblings, Raymond (Annie Mae), Claire LeBlanc (Leo), Caren Robertson (Billy), Wilma Martell (Charles), Rockdale and Valerie George. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial to follow in St. Peter's Catholic Church Cemetery, St Peter's. It is requested that face masks be worn for the funeral mass and burial.

Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (NS).
