He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Johnson and Annie Johnson (Nevins); his wife Sandra Basque; his son Evan Dennis; his son-in-law Brandon MacDonald; his siblings, Richard, Tom, Lester, Bernard Johnson and Beverly Johnson; and his godchild Ryanne Isaac.
He is survived by: his children, Tracie Johnson (Potlotek), Erin Cote (Halifax), DJ (Sarah) and Jude Johnson (Toronto); his grandchildren, Caleb Basque (Wasueg), Serenity Johnson (Jason), Audrina MacDonald and Braylon MacDonald; his great grandchildren, Arianna and Sinai Johnson; his godchildren, Jordan, Dee, Hannah and Selena; and his siblings, Roddie (Lori) of Potlotek, Byron (Rosie) of Potlotek, Basil (Shara) of Potlotek, Dennis Nevins (Carmel) of Potlotek, Monica Young of Potlotek and Nancy Isaac of Potlotek.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Salmon River Church.
