She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Cecilia and Morton Shaw Binet; and her siblings, Stanage Binet, Constance Davenport (Connie), Shirley Latham and Joan Blinn.

She is survived by : her children, Sherry Seaboyer (Dale), Lavonne Carroll (Paul), Michael (Monique), Andrea and Andrew (Sarah); her grandchildren, Kristin, Martin, Jonathan, Steven, Sarah, Vanessa, Matthew, Zachary, Madison, Quincey, Luke and Noah; and her siblings, John, Edward (Anne), Marilyn LeBlanc of Arichat, NS and Edith Little. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
