She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell Morton and Lydia Morton (Greene); and her siblings, Kenneth Morton, Ivan Morton and Judy Paton.

She is survived by : her husband George Raymond Theriault; her children, Monica LeBlanc (Ronald) and Darren Theriault (Scarlett); her grandchildren, Millie, Leah and Charlie; and her siblings, Roland Morton (Nancy), Doris Lawrence (Hugh), Bertha Christie (Bruce), Francis MacDougall, Nancy D'Entremont (Russell), Argyle Head, Iris Hilton (Louis), Arlene Corning (Randy) and Eel Brook.

During the first year of the covid 19 pandemic, she produced a whopping 15 full sized quilts created with repurposed and thrifted materials.

Memorial donations in memory of Pat can be made to the Cape Breton Cancer Centre in Sydney.
