It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard William Fougere (Arichat, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 11, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Fougere and Mary Ella Fougere (Fougere); his son Michael Richard Fougere; and his brother Gary Raymond Fougere. He is survived by : his daughter Karen Taylor (Warren); his stepson Jason MacDonald (Shannon); his grandchildren, Sierra, Morgan Taylor, Sadie and Aubrey York-Fougere; his stepgrandchildren, Findlay and Caislyn MacDonald; his nieces, Kimberly Fougere and Nadine Fougere-Baker; and his sister-in-law Carol Fougere.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and to comply with the recommendations around social distancing, the funeral will be postponed and further notice will be provided when appropriate.

Memorial donations can be made to the charity of one's choice.
