It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Madeline Jeffrey (Arichat, Nova Scotia), born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 17, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Doucette and Mary Eva Doucette (Marchand); and her sister Lucy Ann Locke. She is survived by : her husband Leonard Joseph Jeffrey; her children, Belinda Shea (Bill), Leon Jeffrey (Shelley), Shelly Samson (Tommy) and Jason Jeffrey (Nadine) of Labrador City, NL; her grandchildren, Tyler (Adelle), Samantha, Tara (Blake), Travis, Jaden and Donovan; her great grandchildren, Braden, Ryder, Alayah, Olivia and William; and her brothers, Wilfred Doucette (Dolores) and Cecil Doucette. She is also survived by friends, children, and grandchildren.

Memorial donations can be made to the RK Nursing Home Foundation, St. Louis Parish Cemetery Fund, or to a charity of your choice.
