With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Josephine Hayne (Aspen, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 7, 2026 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Josephine Hayne to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Jordan and Hazel Jordan (Bishop); her husband Howard (Hud); her son Rusty; and her brothers, Ralph, Lloyd and John (Jack).
She is survived by: her children, Heather of Truro and Jeff (Gaile) of Glenelg; her grandchildren, Matthew (Michelle) of St. Peter’s, Elaina Smith (Jesse) of Airdrie, Alberta and Todd (Amanda) of Fort MacMurray; her great grandchildren, Anna, Kayla, Marley, Asher and Dawson; and her siblings, Betty and Dan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Greenfield Oldsters Club (7575 Highway 348, Aspen, NS).
