It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Blanche Foster (Auburn, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 26, 2018, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Edward Evans Graves; her husband Wilfred Foster; and her siblings, Frances Longley (John), Marjorie Pineo (Ralph), Pansy Rogers (Gerald), Dorothy Foote (Jerry), Clara Winott (Blake), Luther Graves (Lillian) and Bedford Graves (Ada).

She is survived by: her parent Mary Graves (Thorpe) of Ross Corner; her children, Marion Foster of Auburn and David Roach of Kingston; her grandsons, Stephen Holland (Archana) of Timberlea, Billy Holland (Michelle) of Kentville and Ashley "Spike" Oickle of Edmonton, AB; her great grandchildren, Shayla Naugle of Lower Sackville, Carson Holland of Kingston, Teela Holland and Kasten Holland of Kentville; and also, Pictou and Howard Illsey of Aylesford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Hazel's memory may be made to the Aylesford Baptist Church, Christian Childrens Fund of Canada or Operation Smile.
