It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ida May Ryerson of Auburn, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Foster and Helen Foster (Murphy); her husband Edward Leroy Ryerson; and her sister Bertha. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Gerrior (Michael), Doug Ryerson Auburn (Emily Parson), Kevin Ryerson (Tracey) and Kingston; her grandchildren, Chris, Matthew, Tyler, Meaghan, Ashley, Georgia, Grace, Mariah, Addison, Hayleigh, Arianna, Landon, Chloe and Colt; and her siblings, Pauline Ryerson (late Kenneth), Sharon Foster (Lewis Millet), Barbara Williams (late Harold), Brenda Keddy (John), Susan Graves (John) and Philip Foster.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Middleton Funeral Home (398 Main St, Middleton, NS B0S1P0). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Family flowers only, donations in Ida's memory may be made to Mountain Lea Lodge Recreation Department, or to any charity of your choice.
