He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Lynch and Isora Lynch; and his wife Janet Louise Lynch. He is survived by : his close friend Marilyn Dempsey; his grandson Spencer Lynch; his son Gary Lynch Jr. (Natasha Campbell) of Kingsport; and his grandchild Morgan.
