She was predeceased by : her parents, Scott Amero and Christina Amero (MacDonell); her husband Carmen Freeman; her siblings, Arnold Amero, Aubrey Amero, Donald Amero, Sheldon Amero and Doris Day; and her great grandchild Ayden Fredericks Durling.

She is survived by : her children, Audrey Cochrane (James) and Danny England (Mary); her grandchildren, Bradley Amero (Mitch) of Fredericton, Sarah Varner (Nick) of Melvern Square, Jasmine Fredericks, Sasha Rockwell of Toronto, Ontario and Jessie England (Gabriel); her sisters, Irene of Brampton, Ontario and Stella (Ron) of British Columbia; her sister-in-law Bonnie Amero; and her brothers, Allen (Phyllis) of Somerset and Dean (Gwen) of Waterville. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; one great great-grandson.

“My personal condolences to the family of Joyce. We go back since child hood. Audrey, I recall often and tell the story of Bradley and his thumb sucking and our trade of the musical clown and his yellow blankie. I will never forget that memory. Maybe will provide you with a little laugh. Maybe recall to him at some point. Elva Kelley”
