It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta I. (Penny) Chiasson of Aylesford, Nova Scotia, born in Kentville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 17, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Gordon Penny (Clarice) and Edna MacLeod (Charles); her husband Peter; her aunts and uncles, Janet Meister (Houghton), Myrtle Meister (Thorp), Gordon Meister and Robert "Gus" Meister; her stepbrother Perry Whittle; and her nephew Gary Wood.

She is survived by : her siblings, Gloria and Gordon Penny (Judy) of Greenwood Square, N. S.; and her stepsiblings, Pat Chamberlain (Gerry) of Toronto, Ontario, Ottawa of Toronto, Ontario, Ruby MacLeod of Toronto, Ontario, Doris MacLeod of Toronto, Ontario and Robert MacLeod. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
