He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald MacIntosh and Eleanor MacIntosh (Farquhar); his in-laws, Robert and Margaret MacLean; his sister Dot MacKenzie; and his brothers-in-law, Skip MacKenzie and Mervyn MacAulay.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Kyle (Amanda) and Courtney; his pet Bella; his grandchildren, Maeve and Malone; his siblings, John (Heather), Frank and Alice (Wayne); his cousin Carol MacKinley; and his siblings-in-law, Sally MacDonald (Norman), Carol MacAulay, Allan MacLean (Barbara) and Buddy MacLean (Maria). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ernie's memory may be made to the Crowdis Mountain Snowmobile Club, Victoria Highland Civic Centre Redevelopment Fund or the Victoria County Hospice Society.
