She was predeceased by: her parents, William Salisbury and Evelyn Salisbury (Perry); her husband Clyde Smith; her son Kenneth; her son-in-law Richard Newell; and her siblings, Harry (Edith), George, Emily Chetwynd (Wallace), Margaret Smith (Elton) and Mattie Salisbury.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Smith (Cindy) and Donna Newell; her grandchildren, Jennifer Sears (Troy), Alyssa Chetwynd (James), Tim Smith, Travis Smith (Stephanie) and Jacob Smith (Adrien); and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Rylee, Kay Sears, William, Sarah Chetwynd and Morgan Smith. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made to the Port La Tour United Baptist Church Roof Fund or a charity of choice.
