She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacob Penney and Gertrude Penney (Nickerson); her son Rodney; the father of her children Samuel Atwood Jr.; her great great grandchild Devon; and her siblings, Freeman, Milton, Borden, Buema, Juanita and Gladys.

She is survived by : her children, Belinda Atwood (Sanford) and Gordon Atwood (Rose); her grandchildren, Terry Smith (Joey), Craig Atwood (Denise), Stephanie Adams (Chris), Ryan Atwood (Shawnda), Derek Atwood (Samantha), Natasha Stoddart, David Trivett and Julie Atwood; her great grandchildren, Tyson, Kandiace, Matt, Jenna, Savanah, Rylee, Jazmyne, Logan, Alexis, Alba and Brynlee; and her great great grandchildren, Kenadie and Devyn.

Memorial donation in her name may be made to the Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund.
