It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Pauline Shand (Barrington, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Sylvester Newell; the father of her children Roger Shand; her close friend Milton Townsend; and her brother-in-law Billy Newell. She is survived by : her mother Mae Newell (Nickerson); her siblings, Lois Newell and Sylvester Jr. Newell (Shirley); her children, Douglas Shand (Darlene) and Donna Shand; her grandchildren, Stephanie Goreham (Corey), Jonathan Shand (Charmaine) and Justin Goreham; and her great grandchildren, Amy, Austin and Drew.
