She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Anderson and Elizabeth Anderson of Newellton, NS.; her husband Peter Carlyle; her children, Peter Jr. and Bonita Fry (Jack); her grandson Ralph Atkinson; and her daughters-in-law, Sandra, Gayle and Janice.
She is survived by: her children, David, Stephen (Phyllis) and Dana (Christine); and her grandchildren, Gail, Janie, Nicole, Faye, Maria, David, Ron, Margaret, Jill, Christopher, Adam, Rickey and Melissa. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, who all enjoyed a visit to Gram.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the H. M. Huskilson's Memorial Chapel (Barrington, NS). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Donations may be made to Roseway Manor in remembrance of Nellie or a charity of choice.
