It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherman Wesley Shand (Barrington, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Shand and Rowena Shand (Banks); his brothers, Aunley (Lorraine) and Arnold (Ida); and his siblings' children, Trudy Shand and Gerald Shand.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine (Obed); his children, Rose d'Entremont (Robert), Gail Nickerson (Dave), Sonia Robitaille (Regean) and Justin Shand (Beth); his stepchildren, Connie Davis (Wade) and Gregory Nickerson (Michelle); his grandchildren, Donovan, Rèjeanne, Arielle, Desirèe, Grady, Maddisyn, Ashlyn Hudson and Reid; his stepgrandchildren, Vanessa, Mirranda, Brett, Brandon and Tanner; and his sibling's children, Bonnie, Margaret, Cheryl, Tracy, Barbara Jean and Steven. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
