She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Nickerson and Annie Nickerson (Watkins); her husband Dallas Fredericks; and her siblings, Roger, Billy, Sammy, Lew and Mary.

She is survived by : her son Peter Killam (Debbie); her grandson Sam; and her brothers, Donnie (Patricia), Joseph (Deborah) and Glen (Kathy).

In lieu if flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
