Mabel Banks Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mabel Banks (Bayside, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 24, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervin Sears and Elizabeth Sears (Smith); her husband Lawrence Banks; and her brother Wilbert Sears. She is survived by: her sons, Wayne (Judy) of Shag Harbour, Brian (Lorraine) of Shag Harbour and Terry (Mary Goreham) of Shag Harbour; her grandchildren, Corey, Lisa, Wade, Mindy, Matthew, Jamie, Terilyn and Nicolas; her stepgrandchildren, Natasha, Jason and Fabian; her great grandchildren, Dustin, Daphne, Hannah, Dakota, Sasha, Tristan, Julian, Caleb, Jonas, Tucker, Mackenzie, Kiersten, Brooke, Reese, Hayden, Jerzan, Jayven and Maverick; her stepgreat-grandson Gavin; her great great grandchild Rawli; and her sisters, Leona Larkin and Juanita Ball. She is also survived by mother and grandmother; she loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in her name may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetic Association or a charity of choice.
