She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Vincent MacDonald and Florence Sophia MacDonald (Broderick); her siblings, Diane (McNeil) of Kearney Lake, NS, Florence (Richards) of Lower Sackville, NS, Theresa (Fancy) of Lower Sackville, NS, Joanne (Smith) of Mississauga, ON, Lewis of Lower Sackville, NS, Anthony of Upper Sackville, NS and James; and her husband Sonny.
She is survived by: her siblings, Betty Jean of Upper Sackville, NS, Annamarie of Upper Sackville, NS, Marcella of Upper Sackville, NS, Thomas of Upper Sackville, NS, Carl of Upper Sackville, NS, Vincent of Halifax, NS, Lisa (Fitzpatrick) of Hamilton, ON and Rodney of Halifax, NS; and her former spouse Kanis Avery Hirtle II.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Weir Field Recreation Centre (2476 Sackville Dr, Upper Sackville, NS B4E3C6).
