He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Broomhead and Elizabeth Broomhead (Jones); and his siblings, Isabelle, Edna, Thomas, Elizabeth (Terry Gallagher), Patricia (Doug Ball) and Ernest (Jean).

He is survived by : his significant other Zelée Broomhead (Harrington); his daughters, Andrea (Kevin Briand) and Leslie (Wayne MacIntyre); and his grandchildren, Sarah Briand (Matt Trace), Kathryn Briand (Robbie Walker), Jessica Briand (Jeff Goodwin) and Kenzie MacIntyre. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society for their continued research or a charity of your choice.
