It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Earlene Carol Barrett of Bedford, Nova Scotia, born in Truro, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Earl and Evelyn Mae MacKay (Staples); her husband John Rupert Barrett; her close friend Addison Neal; and her siblings, Wilfred MacKay, Annie MacKay and Kathleen MacKay.
She is survived by: her children, John Barrett (Shelley), Singapore, Kevin Barrett (David Evans) and Jennifer Bourque (Raymond); her grandchildren, Sarah Barrett-Baldock (Brian), Edmonton, John Barrett, Kelowna, Madyn, Jaclyn Bourque and Bedford; her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Olivia, Isaac and John; and her cousins, Barbara Stewart and Ronald V. MacKay.
