She was predeceased by : her parents, Catherine Jean (Wilson) and Donald W. McLaughlin; her siblings, Ruth Hayden and David McLaughlin; and her granddaughter Laura MacDonald.

She is survived by : her husband Gordon McEachern; her daughters, Lynn MacDonald (Dan) and Dawn Cottreau (Eric); her grandchildren, Brian (Francoise), Ben, Joshua (Emily), Jacob, Beth, Jonathan (Meghan), Lydia, Nathanael MacDonald, Carrie and Jason Cottreau; her great grandchildren, Evelynn, Madeline, Clara, Allison and MacDonalds; her stepchildren, Terry McEachern (Jauna Garland) and Kim McEachern (Hal Puddifant); and her stepgrandson Mark McEachern. She is also survived by sisters- and brothers-in law, nieces and nephews.
