He was predeceased by : his parents, Allen Godfrey and Sadie Belle Payzant; his wife Shirley Elizabeth (Elliott); his brothers, Allen Frederick Payzant and Clyde Andrew Payzant; and his granddaughter Tara Dawn Payzant.
He is survived by : his children, James Allen Payzant Sackville (Patricia), John Lawrence Payzant (Charlene), Jeffrey Stephen Payzant Sackville (Nancy), Leigh Andrew Payzant Bishopville (Tanya) and Joyce Elizabeth Pearce (Robert); his grandchildren, Robert Payzant, Jamie Payzant, Darren Payzant, Michael Payzant, Matthew Payzant, Mark Payzant, Sarah, Jason Rockwell, Laura Powell, Amanda Doncaster, Jessica Burton, Samantha Sears, Benjamin Rockwell, Nicole Sallay, Jenna Payzant and Bradley Payzant; and his great grandchildren, Brooke Sears, Autumn Sears, Jacob Payzant, Elijah Payzant, Isaac Payzant, Sawyer Payzant, Leah Payzant, Emma, Micah Estuye, Andrew, Naomi, Eva, Joel, Alicia Rockwell, Alec Rockwell, Ezra Powell, Jackson Doncaster, Levi Doncaster, Maeve Doncaster, Sylvia Sears, Henry Sallay and Norah Sallay.
