He was predeceased by: his parents, Jentje Deelstra and Aukje Deelstra; and his siblings, Ruurd and Gerrie. He is survived by: his sibling Pieter (Netherlands); his wife Beverley Lynn (Halse); his son Peter Deelstra (Laura) of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Kira and Ryan; his daughter Paula Boyd (late Robert) of Halifax, NS; his grandchildren, Maya and Riley (Matt Veinotte); and his great grandchildren, Lucas and Isaac.
