She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick "Ted" Hunter and Violetta Hunter (Clark); her husband Angus Beaton; and her in-laws, Patrick O'Brien, Theresa Shiek, Findlay Beaton, Doreen Beaton, Ambrose Beaton, Rosalia Beaton, Martin Beaton and Joan Beaton.

She is survived by: her sister Brenda O'Brien of Springhill; her sons, Daniel (Jacqueline) and Paul (Cindy); her grandchildren, Julie (John), Susan (Liv), Steven, Danielle (Tom) and Angela (Scott); and her great grandchildren, Jacob and Catherine. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
