She was predeceased by: her husband Colin Sutherland of Colindale; and her siblings, Clare Maclellan, Kaye Murtagh (Jack), Lauchie Blake, Finlay Maclellan and Duncan Maclellan (Teresa).

She is survived by: her children, Corinne (Gary Nikota), William (Sandra Ollerhead), Finlay (Roberta Gillis), Rose Anne, Lisa and Stewart; her grandsons, Colin (Jonathan Miseferi), Devon (Carley) and Benjamin; and her cousin Theresa.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Ignatius of Loyola Parish (1288 Bedford Hwy, Bedford, NS B4A1C8). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
