He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl M. McKinley and Bessie Roberts; his wife Mona Bradley; his children, Karen McKinley, Susan Gay and Randy McKinley; and his stepson Michael Bradley.

He is survived by: his stepdaughter Debra Horwich (Jim); his son Danny (Truro); his son-in-law Mike Gay (Bedford); Geneva. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
